The Song of the Busy Hummingbird - Bedtime Story
The Song of the Hummingbird
In a sunlit meadow, where flowers swayed in the breeze, a little boy named Ollie loved to play. One afternoon, as he lay in the grass watching the clouds, a tiny hummingbird zipped past his nose.
Its wings fluttered so fast they were just a blur as it darted from flower to flower, never stopping for more than a second.

Ollie sat up. "Little bird, why do you fly so fast? Why don’t you rest?"
The hummingbird chirped, "Oh, young one, I have a song to sing and a garden to tend."
"A song?" Ollie asked.
The bird twirled through the air. "Life is a melody, full of notes that cannot wait. Each flower I visit gives me a taste of sweetness, and I must gather all I can before the season changes."
"So you hurry because time moves fast?" Ollie wondered.
The hummingbird nodded. "Yes, but not in fear—only in joy. The flowers bloom for just a while, the sun shines warm for only a season, and every moment is a note in the song of life."

Ollie smiled, feeling the sun on his skin. He understood. Just like the hummingbird, he should savor every adventure, learn from each day, and fill his heart with beauty.
From that day on, Ollie ran through the fields with wonder, planting seeds of kindness, laughter, and curiosity—knowing that one day, when the seasons changed, he would have a heart full of memories, as sweet as nectar.
And high above, the little hummingbird sang its joyful song, reminding the world that every moment is a treasure.
