The Raindrop That Found Its River

High above the world, in a soft and sleepy cloud, lived a tiny raindrop named Drizzle.

Drizzle had always felt safe in the cloud, surrounded by other little raindrops. They would bounce and swirl together, whispering secrets carried by the wind. But one day, the cloud rumbled softly, and Drizzle felt a little tug.

“It’s time,” the cloud whispered.

Drizzle didn’t know exactly where time was taking him, but he let go. He tumbled and twirled, the wind cradling him like a gentle hand. Down, down, down he fell, landing with a tiny plop into a small puddle on a hillside.

Drizzle looked around—he wasn’t alone! Other raindrops had landed too, all giggling as they wiggled and stretched. Suddenly, the puddle shivered and began to move.

“We’re making a stream!” said a raindrop named Ripples.

Drizzle felt a tiny thrill as the water picked up speed. The stream danced over pebbles, rushed around bends, and even made a tiny waterfall that sent Drizzle wheee-ing through the air

As they flowed together, Drizzle felt something warm inside him. He was no longer just a single raindrop—he was part of something bigger.

The stream widened, stretching far and strong. Drizzle could hear a deep, steady sound ahead.

“What is that?” he asked.

Ripples smiled. “That’s the river.”

Drizzle’s heart skipped. He had heard about the river! It was where all raindrops found their forever home.

The stream joined the river with a soft shhhhhh sound, like a lullaby. Drizzle felt safe as he floated in the gentle current, carried by something greater than himself.

As night fell, the moon shone down, making the river sparkle. Drizzle sighed happily.

He had found where he belonged.

And as the river carried him forward, he knew deep in his tiny raindrop heart—this was just the beginning of a beautiful journey.
